Wake up looking like yourself, only more refreshed and vibrant.
Soft, natural looking permanent make-up, artistically created by hand, for women who want to feel more confident, not “done.”
Meet Your Artist
Hi ladies! I'm Karen and I'm still loving doing permanent make-up for over 20 years, which means there really isn't much I haven't seen. I've worked with every kind of skin, from young and oily to mature, sun-damaged, fine and crepey, and I've corrected plenty of previous permanent make-up along the way too, no judgement here.
My passion is creating permanent make-up that looks like it truly belongs on your face. As our skin changes, it needs a lighter hand, the right colour, patience and an artist who knows when enough is enough.
I work exclusively with the SofTap® hand method. No tattoo machine and no microblading. Pigment is gently tapped or scooted into the skin by hand, giving me precise control over pressure, placement and colour.
My style is soft, natural and elegant. Whether you're starting fresh or looking to improve previous work, my goal is simple: help you feel confident, polished and completely like yourself.
Permanent Make-Up Services

Eyebrows
For brows that have thinned, gone patchy, or never quite forgave you for the nineties. Shaped to your bone structure, coloured for your skin.

Eyeliner
A soft, defined lash line that stays exactly where you put it. Made for hooded lids, watery eyes, and hands that are not as steady as they were at thirty.

Lip Liner
Your lip border did not go anywhere. It just faded quietly while you were not looking. This puts it back, and brings the warmth back with it.

Touch-Ups & Corrections
Brows that went grey, orange, or a little too enthusiastic. Two decades of quietly fixing other people's work.
Your Free Consultation Takes 45 to 60 Minutes.
The shape
I don't map brows or use a one-size-fits-all formula. I artistically draw each brow by hand, using your natural brow bone and facial anatomy as my guide. Every face is naturally asymmetrical and that's completely normal for every face. Geometry and anatomy never line up perfectly, so my goal isn't to force your brows into identical shapes. It's to balance and harmonise them so they look natural on your face. As we age, brow hair can also begin to follow the skin downward toward the eyelid. I'm careful not to simply follow every hair or raise the brows too high. Instead, I work with where your brows were naturally meant to sit, respecting the brow bone and structure around the eyes.
The colour
Karen customises every colour based on your individual skin undertone, because the same pigment can heal differently from one person to the next. Depending on the skin, colour can heal cooler, warmer, ashier or more neutral, and the goal is always to create the most natural, balanced neutral result possible. Before starting, Karen applies colour to your skin and carefully considers your undertone, existing brow colour, skin tone and how the pigment is likely to heal. This gives her the best place to begin, but permanent make-up is also a process where the true healed colour is revealed over time. At your follow-up appointment, Karen can see exactly how your skin responded and make any small adjustments to the colour if needed.
The plan
We'll go through your medical history, your goals, and exactly what to expect during the healing process so you feel completely prepared for your permanent make-up journey. Permanent make-up is revealed over time and over two appointments. The colour will look darker and more defined at first while it sits close to the surface of the skin. As that top layer naturally flakes away, the softer healed colour begins to appear underneath. Once your skin has completely healed, we'll see how it has accepted the pigment and make any refinements needed at your follow-up appointment. Before we begin, you'll understand the shape, colour, price, healing timeline and what permanent make-up realistically can and cannot do.

Several Facts You Should Know About Permanent Make-Up
Price should never be the reason you choose your artist
Choose your artist because you trust their experience, love their healed work and feel confident in their approach. Your initial investment should also clearly include the follow-up appointment needed to assess the healed result and make any refinements. The price is temporary. The quality of the work is what you live with.
Find a licensed technician and book a consultation
At this appointment your needs and expectations are discussed, along with a small amount of paperwork, a review of your medical history, and before and aftercare instructions. Pre-procedure photos are taken and a deposit is usually requested.
Steps should be taken to ensure your comfort
Before we begin, we apply an initial topical anaesthetic, with the option of a different anaesthetic during the procedure, to help maintain your comfort throughout. We also have additional comfort options available when necessary, and can adjust the products used depending on the procedure and your individual needs.
You will receive clear aftercare instructions
Before you leave, you'll receive a care package with the ointment and applicators you'll need for the initial healing period, and a detailed email with step-by-step aftercare instructions, helpful information and photos showing what to expect as your permanent make-up heals.
Return in 4 to 6 weeks for your follow-up
All permanent make-up procedures require a second follow-up appointment to finesse and tweak the initial work, to ensure excellent shape and colour. It will be similar to the initial appointment and may take a little less time.
No one can predict exactly how you will heal
Every person's skin responds to pigment differently. Mature and drier skin in particular can sometimes hold pigment differently from one area to another. Once everything has fully healed, I can see how your skin accepted the pigment and make any adjustments needed.
Know the cancellation policy before you book
Consultations are free. However, if you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice there is a $100 rescheduling fee, payable before your next appointment is booked. A $100 deposit secures your procedure appointment.
