Allergic reactions to permanent make-up are extremely rare. We can do a patch test for allergies prior to scheduling  a procedure. If you have a history of fever blisters, cold sores, or mouth ulcers, you must get a prescription of anti-viral medication such as Valtrex prescribed by a doctor prior to a permanent lip make-up procedure. This helps eliminate a virus outbreak from occurring.
